Ms. Van Patten is a clinical social worker who works with adults, children, adolescents, and their families. She specializes in issues such as trauma, divorce, adoption, attachment, abuse, grief, depression, anxiety, anger, defiance, bipolar disorder, parenting, and relationships. Her therapy dog, Murphy, a mellow, gentle Golden Retriever, works with her, but other arrangements can be made if necessary.
Ms. Van Patten has over 30 years experience with children and families. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Social Work at Colorado State University, Master's Degree in Social Work at the University of Kansas. She has worked on the Rosebud Sioux Reservation in South Dakota, in Kansas in Special Needs Adoption, Infant Adoption, Medical Social Work in Pediatrics at Wesley Medical Center, and as a clinician at Prairie View, Inc. in Newton. Stillman has worked with her since 1999.
