Kirk Miller, Ph.D.

  Dr. Miller is a psychologist who specializes in the evaluation and treatment of ADHD in children and adults, childhood behavior disorders, divorce adjustment, trauma resolution, grief and loss, attachment issues, depression, anxiety, stress management, parenting, and psycho-educational evaluation. He has formal training in the use of EMDR and sees people three years and older.Dr. Miller completed an internship at the University of Kansas School of Medicine- Wichita and received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Texas Tech University. He worked at the Wichita Child Guidance Center for thirteen years and has been in private practice with Associates for the last eleven years.

He has a special appreciation for children and their potential for positive growth and development. He believes that parents and families are critical to the successful treatment of children with emotional or
behavioral problems. He is careful to screen for the role of trauma in causing and maintaining current symptoms and uses EMDR to help resolve the negative effects of traumatic experience.
